PE Award qualifications will be graded and certified on a 5 grade scale, unless the learner is using reasonable adjustments. This scale is from copper to platinum. Components will be marked according to the requirements outlined in the specification and a final UMS will give a total mark before the final grade is determined. Learners who do not achieve the minimum marks will be recoded as unclassified (U) and will not receive a certificate.

In order to be awarded a final grade learners should endeavour to complete all three components and all 5 assessments. Where a learner records a mark of zero for a data assessment input, this will simply lower their final ‘raw’ mark. But this will lead to certification as long as this final mark reaches the copper grade boundary. All submissions should be received via email
When centres submit their final mark book submission they should also submit their moderation video evidence and the moderation grading form. For more support with this please visit Moderation.
